  • Valid Smoking History

  • Years since quitting smoking
  • Year of Randomization (2 year intervals)

Match Ratio: 3 to 1 for non-smokers, 1 to 1 for former/current smokers

Match Technique: Frequency matching with replacement and cases as controls (Incidence Density)
