Data and images from the NLST study are available upon request. To access these materials, you must submit a new NLST project, and it must be approved. The full instructions of this process are described in the file below. When you are ready to begin your project, click the button below.

NLST Project

You may create a project proposal for NLST data and/or images.

Data-Only project proposals must be submitted by the Principal Investigator(PI). You may fill out a project proposal if you are not the PI, but the PI must review and submit.

Expected time for a new project to have data delivered: 1-4 weeks

EEMS Project for NLST Biospecimens

Applications for access to NLST specimens can be submitted under the PLCO Etiologic and Early Marker Studies Program (EEMS). The application review process opens twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. For more information about EEMS, and to initiate an application, visit the "New PLCO EEMS Application" page. When filling out the application, specify "NLST Tissue" on the "Case Definitions" application step.
