Title
System for the detection of pulmonary nudules in medical imaging
Summary
This project aims to develop a system using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) to detect pulmonary nodules in medical imaging, specifically CT and RX scans. The goal is to improve the early detection and diagnosis of lung cancer by accurately identifying nodules that may be indicative of the disease. By leveraging advanced machine learning techniques, the system will analyze medical images, highlight potential nodules, and provide critical insights to healthcare professionals.
Aims

Design, program, and implement an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm based on convolutional neural networks (CNN) for the detection of pulmonary nodules in lung tissue.

elaborate with the radiologist to diagnose the objects detected by the AI in the lung using computed tomography, to accurately determine false positives.
