Summary
My project is about what happens to older lung cancer patients with serious comorbidities when they are exposed to more treatment than needed. I am doing research on the specific effects including the benefits and negatives of overtreating these vulnerable patients when trying to cure lung cancer.

Aims

- Investigating the balance between potential harm and benefits.
- Understanding how aggressive treatments may lead to negative outcomes for these vulnerable patients.
- Understanding of overtreatment’s effects and evaluating whether its harms outweigh its benefits, particularly in older patients with additional health conditions.
