Title
Imbalanced Learning on Cancer Datasets

Summary
We wish to explore machine learning methods on medical datasets where data imbalance is observed. We have previously applied for the PLCO Ovarian Cancer dataset (PLCO-933) and has done some initial experiments on that, whose results are promising so far. Now, we wish to expand the research to include more real-world cancer data to further validate our findings.

Aims

1. We wish to demonstrate resampling methods' implications on imbalanced datasets
2. We wish to illustrate the importance of the majority class samples in imbalanced datasets
