Title
Image quality assessment of digitized chest X ray images
Summary
We will assess whether the chest X ray images stored at our institute have quality good enough for deep learning models such as CXR-Age model (JACC Img. 2021; 14:2226). For this purpose, we will compare image quality metrics calculated from our images with those from images used in the original study. In this process, we aim to find the thresholds of image quality metrics for eligibility. In addition, we will also try to reproduce the results of the CXR-Age model to prepare for our own studies.
Aims

1. To assess the quality of the chest X ray images stored at our institution by comparing with those used in previous deep learning studies.
2. To reproduce the results of CXR-Age model
