Title
The link between diabetes status and pancreatic Cancer survival

Summary
The aim of this project, my Master of Public Health Thesis, is to study the linkage between diabetes status and Pancreatic Cancer survival. This is a paper that I intend to submit to my institution and do not intend to publish.

Aims

To investigate the link between diabetes status and pancreatic cancer survival by:
--looking at the direct relationship
--looking at the relationship between alcohol usage and smoking status with survival and its link to the other factors
--looking at the relationship with other lifestyle variables, cancer grade, and surgery status.
--looking at Vitamin D levels in association with survival due to current literature relating Vitamin D to risk and treatment
-- assessing for mediation, interaction, and confounding
-- build on or corroborate current literature
