Study Summary
The IDATA Tracking in AARP was conducted to understand the measurement error properties of both new and conventional diet and physical activity assessment tools. Study participants were recruited from a list of AARP members aged 50-74 years residing in and around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The purpose of the IDATA study was to evaluate and compare the measurement error structure of diet and physical activity assessment tools against reference biomarkers.

Data Collected
Large amounts of data were collected in IDATA, covering several areas of focus from a variety of sources including protocol details for questionnaires and biospecimens.
Biospecimens Collected
Biospecimen collection protocols for any given participant in the IDATA study were determined by assigned Group. Groups 1 and 3 had their first study center visit at M0, while Groups 2 and 4 had theirs at M6.
