Title
Lung volume and dimensions (height) correlation to population characteristics (BMI, Age, sex, race, height).
Summary
Lung volume and dimensions are used for several ventilation related researches, however was never thoroughly correlated with large set of population characteristic parameters utilizing novel data mining feature extraction methods. The goal of this project is to define a relationship between different demographic parameters of the population and lung dimension variation. Where the relationship will be explored over each single parameter and combinations of multi-parameters (macro-features).
Aims

Research correlation of lung dimensions (length and volume) to a set of population characteristic parameters. This will done by writing code for lung volume and dimension extraction and correlating it to a set of predefined parameters such as BMI, age, sex, race, height etc. in addition, clinical data correlation will be also explored (smoking history, interstitial lung disease, etc.). Then, a multi-parameter analysis will be conducted in order to find and eliminate dependencies between parameters.
