Title
Renal Cancer and Incidental Findings on Low-Dose CT
Summary
Renal cancer incidence has been increasing in recent decades, in tandem with increases in CT use, including abdominal CT and chest CT. The purpose of this project is to examine the potential of low-dose CT to detect incidental abnormalities that lead to renal cancer diagnoses.
Aims

1. To examine non-lung cancer abnormality codes on low-dose CT and their relation to incident renal cancer. Also, to compare survival for subjects with renal cancer detected incidentally versus otherwise diagnosed.

2. To compare renal cancer incidence rates across trial arms.
