Title
Standardization of Imaging Interpretation for Early Lung Cancer Detection, Intelligent Learning Platforms, and Public Education Outreach

Summary
To enhance the quality of national lung cancer early detection and implement precision health, The Radiological Society of the Republic of China aims to systematically promote the standardization of LDCT (Low-Dose Chest CT) interpretation, intelligent talent training, and public health education, based on the four major components of the "Healthy Taiwan Cultivation Plan." By leveraging the expertise of the society and integrating national resources, the goal is to establish a high-quality, consistent, and sustainable CT imaging anti-cancer mechanism for lung cancer prevention.

Through the Lung Cancer Screening Quality Monitoring Program, the project team has employed methods such as random image review and on-site guidance visits to assess and monitor screening quality. It has been identified that there is room for improvement in the quality of screening at national hospitals. Therefore, this project intends to enhance the national LDCT lung cancer screening program by developing an AI learning platform, establishing lung cancer screening interpretation guidelines, and creating professional and educational manuals. These efforts aim to improve the quality of the LDCT lung cancer screening service, ultimately benefiting the general public.

Aims

The objective of this project is to apply for NLST imaging and annotated data, which will be provided to experts for annotation. The annotated data will then be made available to trainees for practice and used to develop exam questions. This initiative aims to enhance the consistency and standardization of LDCT interpretation.
