Title
Lung Cancer Screening and Risk Assessment
Summary
Globally, lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death, especially among men. Detection of lung cancer on LDCT is a labor intensive and tedious task, as it requires detection of
small nodules in a large set of images. Hence the use of AI in the screening will significantly increase the screening process.
Iota medtech does research and development of AI solutions to solve healthcare related problems.
We are currently developing an AI model which will detect the presence of pulmonary nodules in LDCT and CT scans, and give a risk scoring base on the likelihood of malignant or benign. We now seek access to the NLST data to further our ongoing research and development work in our AI to detect lung cancer.
Aims

Development and testing of our AI model for pulmonary nodule detection and give a risk scoring
