Summary
This study is conducted to evaluate the potential role of selected single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of NOS2 and NOS3 with large number of subjects in prostate cancer development with a nested case-control design in the Prostate, Lung, Colorectal, and Ovarian Cancer (PLCO) Screening Trial.
Aims

To study the association between selected genetic polymorphisms of NOS and prostate cancer, especially advanced prostate cancer To evaluate the interactive effects of genetic polymorphisms of NOS and environmental exposure on prostate cancer development.
