Title
Image Analysis of Lung CT Images
Summary
This project is focused on image analysis of lung CT images. We are interested in the development of algorithms to detect abnormal regions in images, and we are also interested in the development of algorithms to determined whether or not an image has been modified in some way ("photoshopped"). This project will evaluate existing algorithms for detecting abnormal regions, and possibly use the results of this study as a basis for development of algorithms with improved performance. This project will also evaluate existing algorithms for detection of copy-paste or splice operations on images, and possibly use the results of this study as a basis for development of algorithms with improved performance on this dimension for medical images.
Aims
(1) - Evaluate algorithms for detecting abnormal regions.
(2) - Use the results of (1) as a basis for development of improved algorithms.
(3) - Evaluate existing algorithms for detection of copy-paste or splice operations.
(4) - Use the results of (3) as a basis for development of improved algorithms for this problem.
