Title
Incidence of Second Primary Lung Cancer in Patients with a History of Head and Neck Cancer

Summary
Patients with a history of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) are thought to be at an especially high risk of lung cancer.
However there are a paucity of data on HNSCC patients comparing survival with or without low-dose helical computed tomography (LDCT) screening for lung cancer. Our goal is to compare the incidence of second primary lung cancers (SPLCs) in patients with a history of HNSCC with LDCT or chest X-ray screening for lung cancer.

Aims

1. Determine the incidence of second primary lung cancer in patients with a history of head and neck cancer with LDCT or chest X-ray screening for lung cancer.
