Title
Development and external validation of a lung nodule management system
Summary
The object of this project is to develop and validate the lung nodule management system in an international external dataset.
The team have been developing a prototype of a lung nodule management system based on deep-learning technology to detect, measure, characterize and trace lung nodules.
The system have been through internal validation and domestic external validation, however, international external validation remains to be done.
According to the performance shown on the validation study, the system will be further developed to cover the weak points.
Aims

1. Evaluate the performance of the lung nodule management system on nodule detection, measurement, characterization and tracing on baseline/follow-up LDCT pair
2. Conduct reader studies on nodule detection, measurement, characterization and tracing tasks to evaluate performance of the readers with or without assist of the lung nodule management system
