Title
Building a Deep Learning prediction model using CT images and patient characteristics

Summary
The latest advancements in data science and analytics, especially with image classification using deep learning techniques, have the potential to aid radiologists and physicians in the process of analyzing lung CT scan images and patient characteristics for the early detection of lung cancer. Our goal is to build a deep learning framework that can be implemented globally, especially in areas where access to radiologists is limited. Additionally, this model aims to expedite analysis time and reduce human error.

Aims

1) Build an image classification model using deep learning (CNN) to predict lung cancer using lung CT images
2) Enrich the model by adding patient characteristics to see if there is any added prediction power
