Title
Methods for Early Detection of Lung Cancer
Summary
The aims of the project are to study the outcomes of the National Lung Screening Trial and develop new methods to identify an early onset of lung cancer and to predict the survival rate. We plan to use machine learning and network analysis methods to accomplish our aims.
Aims

- Build a comprehensive, unified model of all the data available through NLST, such as treatment control, high dimensional lung scans, hard ground truths such as death, multiple screenings;
- Develop methods to identify an early onset of lung cancer;
- Develop methods to predict the survival rate.
