Title
Lung nodule screening on CT images

Summary
The objective of the project is to develop and refine Deep learning algorithm for lung nodule screening on CT images. From the research point of view, we would like to improve on the performance of object detection algorithm that can accurately sift through massive amount of CT images for lung cancer. We will utilize data from NLST in conjunction with other datasets to cross validate the performance of the algorithm and as a step towards clinical validation.

Aims

Using NLST lung CT images data to improve and validate the performance of lung nodule detection algorithm.
