Title
Harmonisation of physical activity measures

Summary
Pooling physical activity data from different studies brings about several challenges of data harmonisation. Methodological studies which have included two or more parallel measures of physical activity greatly facilitates the harmonisation process by quantifying the relationships between estimates from different methods. This project will generate such relationships between activity estimates and utilise them in meta-analysis.

Aims

Cross-mapping of activity estimates, in particularly from different accelerometry measures and various processing approaches to activity energy expenditure measured by doubly labeled water.
