Title
Lung cancer possibility predicting
Summary
Lung cancer is obviously the leading cause of morbidity and death among cancer patients. It is said that quitting smoking at any time will help offset at least some of the rate of cancers and the risk of early death. The amount and duration of one's smoking, whether one has quit smoking and when did he/she quit may have important effects on the morbidity of the lung cancer.
We want to find out whether there is a clear relationship between the above factors and the lung cancer morbidity. A group of correlational analyses will be conducted to calculate the weight of influence factors of those data. The results will be used to create a model to predict the possibility of lung cancer one individual may have.
Aims

Aim 1: Run statistics analysis on each pair of NLST data (amount and duration of smoking, quit time and lung cancer status);
Aim 2: Build a model for training the above data;
Aim 3: Create a framework to perdict the possibility of cancer when given suitable data.
