Title
Estimation of natural progression and survival rates for lung cancer based on NLST project
Summary
The duration of disease progression of lung cancer is the key issue for screening policy making regarding the efficacy and the determination for inter-screening interval.
However, this could not observe from the real scenario without ethical consideration. But, the natural progression estimation should highly depend on the screening data with screening-detected, interval cancer, and refusal cases. The NLST data provides this good opportunity to estimate the natural history and over-detection for lung cancer screening.

My proposal aims to estimate the natural disease progression of lung cancer based on the NSLT project with sufficient information from screening implementation and the survival profiles for screening and control groups.
Aims

To estimate the natural disease progression of lung cancer and over-detection based on the NSLT project
