Title
Evaluation of Checklist-Adjusted Food Frequency Questionnaire
Summary
This analysis will use 7-day checklist data to adjust food frequency estimates of energy and protein intake. The adjusted estimates will be compared to recovery biomarkers and to estimates from unadjusted FFQ, 24HR, and food records.
Checklist data consist of daily frequency counts of relevant food groups. The participant's average count of large aggregated foods (e.g., meats) will be used to adjust the frequency of that aggregated food group reported on the FFQ. The adjustment will be applied to each food item in proportion to the frequency consumed. Intake of energy and protein will be re-estimated based on these new adjustments. These new estimates will be compared to DLW and UN estimated energy and protein intakes in addition to those estimated from records, 24HR, and unadjusted FFQ.
Aims

1. to compare adjusted-FFQ estimates of energy and protein to DLW and UN -derived estimates.
2. To compared adjusted-FFQ estimates of energy and protein to estimates from records, 24HR, and unadjusted FFQ.
