Title
History of Participants with Lung Cancer who Never Smoked
Summary
This is a descriptive study to characterize the PLCO participants who were never smokers who have been diagnosed with lung cancer, to compare screening performance in never-smokers with smokers, and to attempt to develop a risk model for never smokers. We will study the never-smokers with lung cancer in the intervention arm, and if possible the control arm. We will compare never-smokers with lung cancer to a control group of never-smokers without lung cancer and to smokers with lung cancer
Aims

1. Describe demographic features of never-smokers with lung cancer . 2. Describe features of lung cancers in never-smokers (histology, stage). 3. Describe screening outcomes in never-smokers. 4. Compare never-smokers with lung cancer to never-smokers without lung cancer and smokers with lung cancer. 5. Develop a risk model for lung cancer in never-smokers.
