Lung Cancer Program Strategy
Summary
This study is a review of best practices in the management and administration of lung cancer care. These are gathered through interviews with industry experts and a review of published literature.
Aims

Calculate a range of estimates for the number of patients that would receive surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy in the next decade, as lung cancer screening becomes more prevalent. This calculation will incorporate NLST treatment data by stage of cancer diagnosed.

This study provides guidance to cancer programs on how to invest in the highest quality lung cancer care. This work will provide guidance to member cancer programs that includes strategies to improve care quality and patients’ experiences, and proven processes from case studies of best-in-class institutions.
