Title
Analysis of Colonoscopy Yield from the SCU Study
Summary
The Study of Colonoscopy Utilization (SCU) was an ancillary study to PLCO which examined the utilization and yield from surveillance colonoscopy. This proposal examines the yield of surveillance colonoscopy as a function of the baseline adenoma findings and the time interval from baseline to 1st surveillance exam.
Aims
Specific Aim 1: To describe the yield of surveillance colonoscopy as a function of baseline findings. 2: To describe the yield of surveillance colonoscopy as a function of time to exam 3. To estimate the effect of missed adenomas on adenoma prevalence at 1st surveillance exam.
