Title
Investigate the impact of different dietary intake on the incidence of lung cancer based on the PLCO cohort
Summary
Lung cancer is a disease characterized by high incidence and mortality rates. Therefore, identifying the key factors influencing its occurrence and development is crucial. Diet plays an essential role in human health. However, most previous studies have focused on the effects of individual nutrients on lung cancer, with limited large-scale research on the impact of diverse dietary patterns and multiple nutrient intake. This study aims to investigate the influence of various dietary intake patterns on lung cancer using extensive cohort data from the PLCO ultilizing different statistical methods. The PLCO cohort is particularly well-suited for this study due to its large sample size, extended follow-up period, and rich dataset, which enables a comprehensive analysis of how diet, influence the occurrence and progression of lung cancer.
Aims
1.Explore the impact of different dietary patterns on the incidence of lung cancer.
2.Explore the impact of different dietary patterns on the mortality rate of lung cancer patients.
