Pan-cancer analysis of inflammatory diet, tumor immune infiltration, and survival
Summary
Pro‐inflammatory diets might be associated with higher colorectal cancer mortality and that the association might be stronger for tumors with lower immune responses. Here we leverage the updated dietary inflammatory index (DII) to assess the inflammatory diet, and evaluate the tumor microenvironment through digital pathology.
Aims
To assess association betwwen DII or tumor immune infiltration and long-term survival across pan-cancer patients, respectively.
To evaluate the potential interaction between inflammatory diets and tumor immune infiltration on patient survival
