Title
Anti-inflammatory diet and tumor microenvironment during colorectal carcinogenesis
Summary
Inflammation-modulating nutrients and inflammatory markers are known cancer risk and survival factors. However, it is still unclear that how pre-diagnosis diet influence the tumor immune cell infiltration. Here we are going to assess tumor immune cell infiltration based on digital images of colorectal carcinogenesis (adenoma and colorectal cancer). The established dietary inflammatory index (DII®) will be used as surrogate of pre-diagnosis diet.
Aims
1.To study the pre-diagnosis diet and and adenoma/tumor immune cell infiltration.
2.To assess the interaction between diet and with colorectal cancer incidence and survival.
