Title
Association between coffee and tea consumption and ovarian cancer incidence
Summary
Ovarian cancer is a formidable gynecological malignancy, ranking as the fifth leading cause of cancer-related mortality among women worldwide. It is usually diagnosed at an advanced stage and, prognosis following diagnosis remains poor. Due to its poor prognosis, identifying preventive risk factors, such as diet, for OC is important for reducing its incidence and mortality.
The relationship between coffee, tea consumption, and the risk of ovarian cancer has been extensively studied, yielding inconsistent conclusions. Therefore, the primary objective of this study is to reevaluate data from the PLCO prospective study to determine the precise association between coffee and tea consumption and the risk of OC.
Aims

Evaluate the association between coffee, tea and caffeine consumption and risk of ovarian cancer.
