Title
Study on prognostic significance of STAS in lung cancer
Summary
STAS (Spread through air spaces) is an important prognostic indicator of lung cancer, and previous studies mainly focused on its prognosis value of lung adenocarcinoma. However, recent studies on STAS have shown that lung squamous cell carcinoma and mucinous adenocarcinoma also have a high proportion of STAS. However, the criteria for evaluating STAS in daily pathological diagnosis are still controversial, especially the distance from the main body of the tumor. The identification of STAS and artificial illusion is also difficult in the evaluation of STAS. In our study, STAS were evaluated for pathological sections according to different criteria to verify the evaluation criteria for determining the most prognostic stratification value.
Aims

The NLST database was used to verify the prognostic significance of different STAS assessment criteria. Therefore, the optimal STAS evaluation criteria can be selected.
