Title
The potential role of dietary inflammatory index and other dietary factors in development of endometrial carcinoma.
Summary
Endometrial carcinoma is one of the most common malignant tumors in gynecology, which is a serious threat to women’s health. How to reduce the risk of endometrial carcinoma is a meaningful question. Obesity is a known risk factor for endometrial carcinoma. In addition, current study suggests that chronic inflammation is one of the major risk factors for development of several types of cancer. Diet is a vital factor affecting weight and various dietary components can modulate inflammation. We plan to explore the potential role of dietary inflammation index and other dietary factors in development of endometrial carcinoma in PLCO cohort.
