Title
Genetic Predictors of Lung Cancer Survival
Summary
We are planning to perform a genome-wide analysis to investigate the prognostic implications of genetic variants in NSCLC patients. By integrating the applied dataset and our in-house data, we will further investigate whether there is any shared genetic factor between different ethnic groups. So, we plan to validate the identified significant SNPs in multicenter institutions. Using the identified susceptibility loci, we will build a prediction model for lung cancer survival, which may guide the treatment mode and follow-up frequency of patients. We will publish any findings of this research in a peer-reviewed scientific journal. Our study does not pose any additional risk to participants. Also, the study does not involve patient identification, and all patient-identifiable data will be kept under strict internal control and will not be shared or transferred.
Aims
The goal of our study is to identify genetic factors associated with lung cancer clinical outcomes in a multicenter design.
