Lung Nodule Classification and Diagnosis and Optimize cancer screening
Summary
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death among both women and men. We want to use the LIDC-IDRI and NLST datasets to explore how to decrease the cancer screening false positive rate by improving the accuracy of lung nodules classification, and using the semantic features of nodules to build more robust lung nodules diagnosis models for clinical adoption.
Aims

1. to develop a lung nodules classification model
2. to combine the semantic features to build a more robust model --an interpretable deep learning model
3. to develop a novel statistical Malignant level estimation model
4. practical utilization in lung cancer screening data
