Title
NSAID use and ovarian cancer risk of morbidity and survival
Summary
Ovarian cancer is the most fatal gynecologic malignancy, inflammation and gonadotropins are hypothesized to influence ovarian carcinogenesis. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as aspirin and ibuprofen, are medications that commonly used to treat pain, arthritis and cardiovascular diseases. Epidemiological and experimental data have supported the use of NSAIDs may reduce the risk of ovarian cancer and improve cancer survival. However, these original studies were not comprehensive and NSAIDs use effects on different studies were controversial.
Using articles from different database, we propose to systematically evaluate the association between the potential risk or therapy effects of NSAIDs use and ovarian cancer. Furthermore, we want to validate those results in PLCO data.

Aims
To determine whether use of NSAIDs is associated with reduced risk and improve survival of ovarian cancer.
