Title
Association of obesity with risk of early-onset cancer: based on PLCO dataset
Summary
Few studies have prospectively evaluated the association between obesity and risk of early-onset cancer. Because of the parallel increase in obesity and early onset cancer, a thorough examination of the role of current and early-life obesity is among the first steps in our understanding of the increasing burden of early-onset cancer. Here we apply to obtain comprehensive PLCO data, including demographics data, history of medicine (e.g. Aspirin, Hormones), dietary data, nutrient supplement (e.g. vitamin D), to identify whether or not obesity are associated with early-onset cancer risk
Aims
The aim of this study was to investigate prospectively the association between obesity and weight gain with the risk of early-onset cancers using the all first cancer information in the PLCO.
