Deep Learning on Lung Cancer Diagnosis
Summary
Our group focuses on lung cancer automatic diagnosis. We plan to use advanced deep learning method to address this issue. Based on previous studies, deep learning method has gained significant achievements on solving computer vision problems. We believe, with a good use of deep learning method, we believe greater improvement can be achieved in the field of medical image processing and computer aided diagnosis. Our proposed method mainly consists of four parts, including lung segmentation, nodule candidates generation, nodule candidates classification and lung cancer prediction. To accomplish these steps, a large amount of data is needed for training a good performance deep model.
Aims
We plan to use deep learning method to automatic diagnose lung cancer for research purpose. To training a well performed deep learning model, a large amount of data is needed, so we really need these lung CT images.
