Title
Estimating heterogeneous treatment effect of lung cancer in PLCO trial
Summary
Early work on heterogeneous treatment effect estimation of lung cancer was to characterize interactions between a treatment and covariates. It is important to try to use a flexible model (e.g. tree-based method) building with multivariable fractional polynomial interaction to estimate subpopulation treatment effect.
Aims
To determine a subgroup with best treatment effect to assist doctors with therapeutic decisions.
